Time: 15 mins (plus cooling time)
Difficulty: 1/5
Tested: YES
Yields: 3/4 cup of sauce

Ingredients

1 tablespoon minced sautéed onions or rehydrated onions (details below)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons relish
2 tablespoon ketchup
2 teaspoons yellow mustard
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Method

  1. Prepare the onions.

If using dehydrated onions: Add 3 tablespoons of water to the tablespoon of onions. Allow Dehydrated Onions to hydrate for about 20 minutes or until fully rehydrated.

If using sautéed onions: Dice one small-sized onion. In a large skillet, melt 1 Tbsp. butter over medium-low heat. In a large sauté pan or skillet, heat the 1 tablespoon of butter over medium high heat. Add the onion and cook for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add a pinch of salt and fresh ground black pepper and cook another 4 to 5 minutes, until gold brown. Let cool completely.

  2. Place all of the ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
