Green Bean and Grape Tomato Salad with Crème Fraîche Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of green beans, trimmed

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh basil

  • 2 tbsp green onions

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp half and half cream

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 pint grape or cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds


Method

  1. Cook green beens in boiling water 2 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain and plunge the beans in an ice water bath.

  2. Combine basil and next 5 ingredients (through salt) in a large bowl, stirring with a whisk. Add green beans and tomatoes; toss gently to coat. Divide mixture evenly among 6 plates; sprinkle with sesame seeds.
